A screen placed on the nose. The GG2164S features a continuous mask of thick acetate, with a curved and rounded front that extends well below the cheekbones. A thin central bridge separates the two tinted lenses, the only interruption in the surface. The very wide temples bear the printed GUCCI word, and the monogram appears at the top of the left lens. Made in Japan, bio nylon lenses.

For whom?

A deliberately oversized unisex frame, in one size: it covers from the eyebrow to the cheekbone and extends widely over the temples. It requires a medium to large face, oval, round or square, and remains difficult to wear on a small face. The very thick temples limit peripheral vision, to be aware of before purchase. Black keeps the piece legible, marbled warms it up, and striped olive remains the most original of the three, to be reserved for khaki and earthy wardrobes.
