A mass of acetate placed on the face without seeking discretion. The Fendi Roma rounds two generous lenses into a very thick frame, with outer edges that remain straight cut. The wide temples bear the signature in gold letters, backed by a visible metal core engraved with the repeated pattern. A small gold cabochon marks each hinge. The curve of the bridge slightly hollows out the upper line.

The lens size of 51 mm for a 21 mm bridge remains standard; it's the thickness of the acetate that creates the wide effect.
