A metal knot holds the lens in place. The Musubi 031 eliminates the rim and rivets two thin ovals directly onto an intertwined loop pattern, placed at the junction of each temple. The golden wire then widens towards the ear, finishing in a flattened tip. The lenses have a pale green tint that allows the eyes to be seen. The bridge remains in its simplest form.

Who is it for?

A frame for those who seek delicacy and intricate details rather than a prominent volume. The 55mm lens size with a 19mm bridge, and only 30.7mm in height, creates a very elongated shape that lengthens the gaze. It flatters round or full faces and remains discreet on fine features. The absence of a rim and the metal wire make the whole almost immaterial to wear. The pale green tint is less warming than brown but remains gentle on light eyes.
