The 90s oval makes a comeback. The GG1660S features a small, oval front in shiny black acetate, with thick rims and a low bridge. On each temple, the interlocking GG emblem in gold metal spans the entire width just after the hinge. The plain grey lenses feature the GUCCI signature printed in white at the top left. Made in Italy, nylon lenses.

A feminine and compact frame: 54 mm lens width for 31 mm height, a 16 mm bridge, and 135 mm temples. It enhances round, oval, and heart-shaped faces, small to medium in size, by elongating the gaze without widening the cheekbones. On a wide or square face, it will quickly appear cramped. The low and narrow bridge suits less pronounced nose bridges. The shiny black enhanced with gold remains versatile, from jeans to a suit.
