A wraparound shield that rises very high on the forehead and tapers down onto the cheeks, mounted without a lower rim. A white plate screwed to the top bears the word VERSACE in gold letters. The wide, triangularly hollowed temples frame a golden Medusa medallion that fills the void. The bright white contrasts with the dark gray lens and highlights the cut.

The 148mm front and lens height cover wide, square, and oval faces; on a small or narrow face, the frame extends above the eyebrows and the helmet effect predominates.
